世界上最先進(jìn)的農(nóng)機(jī)設(shè)計(jì)理念在哪里？筆者認(rèn)為，非凱斯紐荷蘭的Modena構(gòu)建的VR虛擬設(shè)計(jì)莫屬。為何，請往下看！

凱斯紐荷蘭（CNH）在莫德納（Modena）的基地，最早在都靈。1977年，CNH將拖拉機(jī)設(shè)計(jì)和測試部分搬到Modena，幾年后，這里建立了一個(gè)很大的零部件中心，主要為歐洲客戶服務(wù)。

在20世紀(jì)80年代，零部件中心不斷擴(kuò)大，并建立了新的自動零部件倉庫。1989年，辦公區(qū)域進(jìn)行再次擴(kuò)建。

最近幾年，又建立了很多新的測試室，測試范圍也在不斷擴(kuò)大，同時(shí)建立了新的虛擬現(xiàn)實(shí)（VR）設(shè)計(jì)空間。

現(xiàn)在的Modena基地占地面積20萬平米，建筑面積5.2萬平米，有大約900名員工，其中，產(chǎn)品開發(fā)占大多數(shù)，有450人，其次是零部件和服務(wù)240人，紐荷蘭意大利市場和其他農(nóng)業(yè)機(jī)械部門有98人。

此外，還有金融、人力資源、質(zhì)量、發(fā)動機(jī)、凱斯紐荷蘭工業(yè)亞太服務(wù)中心等部門。

人員構(gòu)成中，管理和專業(yè)人員占57%，小時(shí)工有29%。

這里的主要工作是零部件生產(chǎn)供應(yīng)和售后服務(wù)，主要任務(wù)是整合意大利的零部件和服務(wù)資源，為全世界所有CNH旗下品牌服務(wù)。

Modena每年有1.53萬噸的零部件，約58萬件，發(fā)往世界各地，平均每個(gè)部件26.5kg，年銷售額達(dá)1.3億美元。

With this technology, We try to reduce the number of physical prototypes that we have to build by building as many virtual prototypes as possible.

So let’s walk through this transmission a little bit. So you can see we have the final drive here on the left. You can see the hydraulic motor up here, and we can make sure that we have a tool clearance to where we need to get to, by grabbing the tool.

So we use the digital representation of the model of the vehicel, which is called the digital mock up.

So a little while ago, I showed you a demonstration using our tracking system to walk around and pull apart a virtual component, this allows the user to really get an understanding of SpaceClaim of all those components of any clearance or interference issues that may exist there, so you can pull it apart and get an understanding of kind of the overall size and overall structure of the machine and it’s much different seeing it that way than seeing it 2-D on a computer screen.

You have seen that to run all of these complex simulations, we need high performance computing.

Today, we have a network of high performance computing of about 2000 cores. We have several HPC servers all around the world in different regions.
